Variation Presentation
MBII members will select a variation from a classical or modern work to present at the end of the season in the MBII Graduation Celebration. They will be required to prepare the chosen solo, arrange for costuming through the costume department of the Milwaukee Ballet and provide a recording of the music. MBII dancers must exercise their initiative and be very self-motivated for this project. The Artistic Staff of the Milwaukee Ballet and an independent panel will evaluate this project.
Creativity Projects and Educational Development
MBII members, in addition to their production and outreach work, will have the opportunity to work with visiting choreographers, with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Dance Department, with community members and Milwaukee Ballet Artistic Staff. Through a variety of projects, MBII dancers will get the chance to see other theatrical performances in the city, create their own choreography and further develop their personal vision and goals as individual and intelligent artists.
