School Programs Coordinator
The School Programs Coordinator serves as an integral member of the Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy administration. Reporting to the School & Academy Director, the position is primarily responsible for facilitating coordination of the Milwaukee Ballet Summer Intensive, the Pre-Professional Program, Milwaukee Ballet II Second Company, auditions, and student performances. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for the arts, confident, personable, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position with benefits with a beginning salary range of $40,000. Schedule will include traditional office hours, along with special events or performances that may occur in the evenings or on weekends.
Social Media & Content Manager
The Social Media & Content Manager is a key member of Milwaukee Ballet’s Advancement department and marketing team, responsible for creating and executing engaging digital content that brings the organization’s brand and artistic work to life. This role manages day-to-day social media channels while capturing and producing photo and video content from rehearsals, performances, and behind-the-scenes moments, supporting overall marketing efforts. Working collaboratively across departments, this role drives audience engagement, ticket sales, and community connection through dynamic digital storytelling.
This position requires flexibility outside of traditional office hours, including evenings, weekends, and support during performances and events. This is an in-person, full-time, exempt position with benefits.

Marketing & Advancement Intern
The Advancement department (comprising Marketing, Development, and Patron Services) is seeking an intern to support the team while receiving hands-on workplace experience that correlates to the intern’s education program and/or coursework. The ideal candidate will be creative and organized, with interest or experience in social media, copywriting and editing, email marketing, and website maintenance.
This is an unpaid, part-time seasonal internship position. Hours are flexible based on availability and class schedules, with an anticipated 10-20 hours per week in person at Milwaukee Ballet’s downtown offices. Candidates must be eligible to receive academic college credit.
Digital Media Intern
The Marketing department is seeking a Digital Media intern to support the team while receiving hands-on workplace experience that correlates to the intern’s education program and/or coursework. The ideal candidate will be creative and social media-fluent with practical skills to participate in photography, videography, graphic design, and content creation.
This is an unpaid, part-time seasonal internship position. Hours are flexible based on availability and class schedules, with an anticipated 10-20 hours per week in-person at Milwaukee Ballet’s downtown offices. Candidates must be eligible to receive academic college credit.
Education Administration Intern
The Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy (MBSA) is seeking an intern to support the team while receiving hands-on workplace experience that correlates to the intern’s education program and/or coursework. The School & Academy provides year-round dance instruction to over 600 students across three branch locations. The School & Academy administrative team helps to support our students, parents, and instructors in their dance education and coordinates all classes, performances, and school events.
This is an unpaid, part-time seasonal internship position. Hours are flexible based on availability and class schedules, with an anticipated 10-20 hours per week in-person at Milwaukee Ballet’s downtown offices. Candidates must be eligible to receive academic college credit
Faculty, Part-Time (Ballet, Pilates, other Adult Dance & Fitness)
Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy seeks part-time instructors for all three locations; Fox Point, Brookfield, and Third Ward. Part-time faculty are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students aged 2 – 21 years old in a variety of levels in classical ballet technique. Teachers may be scheduled for the traditional school year (fall through spring), Summer Intensive, and summer camps and classes.
This is a part-time hourly position with competitive pay based on experience.
Accompanists, Part-Time
Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy is seeking dependable musicians with strong piano skills to accompany ballet classes. Instruction provided for newcomers to the ballet class environment. Especially encouraged to apply are those with backgrounds in improvisation, composition & arranging, musical theatre (including opera), and/or collaborative piano.
Position Overview
This position is flexible; it is not required to meet the full weekly schedule.

Schedule: Daily classes normally from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Monday through Friday.
- Additional classes are held during performance runs at the performance venue with a varying schedule (morning, afternoon, or weekends).
- Season Dates: September 8, 2026 – May 1, 2027. The company works for 33-weeks of this period.
- Location: Baumgartner Center for Dance
