Emery Meroni originally hails from Cimo, Ticino in Switzerland. He studied at the Massachusetts Academy of Ballet and attended the Summer Intensive programs of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, the HARID Conservatory, and the Washington School of Ballet. Meroni studied at the HARID Conservatory year-round training program (class of Meelis Pakri), where he was awarded the Fred Lieberman Award for Excellence, the Rudolf Nureyev Award, and dance study awards in ballet, character, and modern. Additionally, he was the President of the National Honors Society and graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 2022. In addition to English, Meroni is also fluent in the Italian and French languages.

Emery joined Milwaukee Ballet II for the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, during which time he was featured as Desire in Aurora's Wedding, Lucien D'Hervilly in Paquita Grand Pas, and Peter's Shadow in Michael Pink's Peter Pan

Emery was promoted to the Company in 2024.
