Submit a Video Audition
Registration for video audition submissions is available beginning Monday, January 5 through Wednesday, April 15, 2026. After completing registration to submit a video audition, you will receive an email with a link to an online Audition Registration Form within one week. Please plan to submit all materials via the link provided no later than April 15.
All videos must be labeled with the student’s name, uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo, and can be unlisted or required a password to view. Share the link/url (and password, if required) when completing the online Audition Registration Form sent to you via email.
Videos should be approximately 5-minutes in length and include barre and center work. Please include the following exercises:
- At barre: battement jete, fondu, adagio, and grand battement.
- Center: adagio, turns, and jumps
Ladies should wear their pointe shoes. Students aged 16 and older should submit an video of a classical variation, in addition, if available.
Additional Materials
Please include a headshot and a photo in first arabesque (en pointe, if applicable).
In-Person Auditions
Advanced registration is $40 per student and is recommended for all auditions as space is limited. Pre-registration for each audition closes at noon of the Monday prior. Day-of audition walk-in registrations are $45 and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as space remains available.
Your audition determines acceptance into the Intermediate 3-week or Pre-Professional 5-week Summer Intensive program. Audition results are emailed within 10 days of your audition.
Auditionees should wear a dark, solid color leotard, pink or skin-toned tights, and bring ballet and pointe shoes; or, wear a white shirt, black tights, and ballet shoes.

Step 1: Create an account in Milwaukee Ballet’s new registration portal. Complete all fields and click “Create Account.” If you receive an error that your email is associated with another account, please reset your password to access your account.
Step 2: Then use the direct link for your audition below to access the registration page. Select the quantity of students to register from the drop-down menu and click “Purchase.” Continue through to “Check Out” and complete your order by clicking “Buy Now.”
Step 3: Look for an automatically generated confirmation email that will include a link to an online Audition Registration Form. This form collects additional details about the audition registrant and must be completed at least one week in advance of their audition date.
Day-Of Walk-In Registration
Day-of audition walk-in registrations are $45 and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis as space remains available.
To register for an audition day-of, please report to the audition host venue at the start of the listed registration/check-in time. Bring your printed and completed Walk-In Registration Form. The $45 audition fee can be submitted in cash to Milwaukee Ballet staff or via credit card (use the space provided on the form). Checks of any kind will not be accepted.
