Milwaukee Ballet is proud to perform at historic theaters throughout the city as well as our very own black box theater at Baumgartner Center for Dance.
Milwaukee Ballet is a proud resident partner at Marcus Performing Arts Center. Full-length and story ballets, including the annual production of The Nutcracker, are performed in the Marcus Center’s Uihlein Hall. Tickets to Milwaukee Ballet performances in their venue are available through the Marcus Center Box Office, in addition to being purchased from the ballet Box Office and website.
Marcus Center’s main doors will open one (1) hour prior to showtime. The house (theater) will open 30 minutes prior to showtime.
The Marcus Center Parking Structure is located one block north of the Marcus Center, between East State Street, and East Highland Avenue. To access the parking structure, turn onto State Street from Water Street. The entrance is one block west of Water Street on the right. There is also access to the west side of the parking structure, via Edison Street.
Handicapped accessible stalls are available. For your convenience, a skywalk crosses State Street from the parking structure to the Marcus Center. To access the skywalk from the parking structure, take the stairs or elevator in the southeast corner and go to the third floor (roof level).

Milwaukee Ballet Company and the Milwaukee Ballet II Second Company may perform in our home studio, the We Energies Performance Studio at Baumgartner Center for Dance in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy also utilizes the in-house studio for performances by the Academy and Pre-Professional divisions.
